Unlax Candles was born following a love for candles after burning candle after candle next to the last photo Britt (Unlax owner) had taken with her Nan and Pop before my Pop passed away.
Unlax Candles has been named in loving memory of Britt's Pop who always encouraged me to chase my dreams, passions and goals in life. Britt's Pop would always tell us to Unlax, which means to unwind and relax.

Always ensure your wick is upright and trimmed before lighting. This will help the wick to stay alight, burn evenly and longer. You can trim your wick by pinching off the top of the wick with a tissue or with a wick trimmer. It is important to do this before each burn, to ensure a clean burn.
Ensure you burn your candle on a fire resistant surface and is in an area which avoids draughts. Turn your candle periodically to avoid uneven burning and candle collapse. A candle in a draught may start to smoke.
To keep the burn pool clean, if you get any black at the rim of the glass simply wipe away with a damp cloth, this may be a sign that your wick is to long or your candle has been burning for longer than 4 hours. Never leave your burning candle unattended.
Your soy candle is sensitive to light and temperature and should be stored in an upright position in a cool and dry area. Soy wax is sensitive to temperature and light. Fragrances with a vanilla content may become yellow if exposed to sunlight or fluorescent light. This is normal and will not affect the performance of your candle.
It is best to use a candle snuffer to extinguish your candle rather than blowing it out to prevent the wick from drifting off centre and causing potential wax splash. This will also help maximise your candles burn time.
It is normal to see adhesion changes within the glass or the surface due to the unpredictable nature of soy wax. This does not affect the performance of the candle it simply means that 100% natural soy wax has been used.
Stop burning your candle when 1cm of wax remains.
Please note: Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, hazard or injury.
